Metropolitan Council Incinerator Emissions Testing Minneapolis, Minnesota

Metropolitan Council Incinerator Emissions Testing Minneapolis, Minnesota

AET was awarded a contract from the Metropolitan Council, to conduct air emissions testing on the Sewage Sludge Incinerators (SSI) at Metro Waste Water Treatment Plant (MWWTP) and Seneca Waste Water Treatment Plant (SWWTP). These two facilities are two of the largest wastewater processors for the Twin Cities Metro area.

AET provided air emissions testing for mercury, lead, cadmium, dioxins, hydrochloric acid, particulate matter, nitric oxides, sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide to ensure compliance with the latest federal air emission standards that have governed all SSI units since 2016. AET’s extensive air emission testing experience helped give Metropolitan Council the confidence that their facilities complied with the latest federal regulations.
