We are delighted to announce the addition of forensics engineer Randy Tufts, PE, as Principal Engineer in the Building Performance, Forensics, and Testing Group. Randy worked for a cement manufacturer before working at Anchor Block/Anchor Wall Systems for 15 years and brings a vast knowledge of precast and dry-cast concrete production, troubleshooting, logistics, CNC machining, and design to our team at AET. Randy spent the last five years working as a forensic engineer on projects throughout the United States.

Randy’s focus areas will include material damage investigation, mentorship of staff and younger engineers, insurance forensics, including storm damage, fires, and vibration damage and monitoring. He is a PE in 12 states and is also working on getting his drone pilot’s license.  

Randy and his wife have two children and enjoy the outdoors, where they bike, hike, camp, fish, and downhill ski, among other activities.
