We are excited to announce the addition of David Koppel to Team AET as our new Environmental Manager in the St. Paul office! David joined our company in November 2024 and brings over 13 years of experience in environmental consulting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Gustavus Adolphus College and a master of science in geology from Ohio University. Throughout his career, he has worked with notable companies, including Bay West, Antea Group, Terracon, and AECOM. David has excelled as a project manager and team leader, and during the first five years of his career, he gained extensive field experience, traveling across the country to various environmental sites.

David’s extensive experience with firms ranging from small to global has provided him with a well-rounded perspective on our industry. He plans to lean on those experiences as he builds efficiencies in the Environmental Department and grows AET’s footprint both in the region and nation. David is passionate about mentorship and talent management, and he is excited to be able to exercise those passions with our people first company. 

In his role at AET, David will focus on ensuring we have the right team members in place to continue providing excellent work. Additionally, he will support the development and growth of the Environmental Department.

In his free time, when he is not shuttling his three children to activities, he enjoys traveling with his wife and family, participating in triathlons, and hunting pheasants with his German Shorthaired Pointer.
