We are honored to welcome Melanie Schmitt as our Vice President of Finance! Melanie joined Team AET in April and brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience to our company. She is an expert in process improvement and long-range financial planning. Melanie has been a Finance Director/CFO at multiple local government organizations in Minnesota, where she worked on the financing and accounting for many infrastructure projects, including a new police station, bridge reconstruction, and pavement maintenance projects.  

In her role at AET, Melanie will focus on monitoring the organization’s financial health, leading and developing the Finance Team, and collaborating with operations to deepen financial understanding and risk management.

Melanie is an avid runner who spends considerable time grinding out miles in the South Metro. When she is not running, she enjoys making memories with her husband and four children in the great outdoors, boating, fishing, gardening, and hiking.
